There’s a questionable trend popping up online.
A growing number of influencers, both male and female, insist that men should lead their relationships and women should defer to their man’s initiative.

I asked a client to describe her ideal partner.
She’d listed a lot of things she DIDN’T want from her former partners — ranging from aggression to an inability to state their own needs.

So last week, I promised a sound bite describing what women want.
And last Thursday, I interviewed a Belgian woman on a boat ride up the Amazon.She pretty much confirmed (again) what I’ve heard from every healthy woman I’ve ever met.

I’m traveling around the world talking to people about masculinity, femininity, and gender. Right now, I’m on the border of Peru, Brazil, and Colombia in a town called Leticia. Talking to people is one of the best ways to learn things. (Who’d have thought?)
